Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Beagle Innovations, Inc. ("Beagle," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Beagle Inspections inspector portal at inspectors.beaglelabs.ai and the Beagle Inspections mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from inspectors and contractors who use the Platform, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights and choices available to you.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Use govern your use of the Platform.

Section 1

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Platform, we collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Account and identity information — your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address provided at registration or during onboarding.
  • Professional and licensing information — your inspector license number, certifications, coverage area, and onboarding responses used to verify your eligibility and match you with assignments.
  • Location information — geographic area or location data you provide or that is inferred from your assignments and field activity, used to match you with nearby inspection opportunities.
  • Inspection and work submissions — assigned batches, inspection status, scheduling details, questionnaire responses, field notes, and photos you upload in connection with inspection work.
  • Payment and tax information — payment method details and tax identification information collected to facilitate compensation for completed work. Payment card and bank account data is collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment credentials.
  • Communication preferences — whether you opt in to email or SMS notifications and your notification settings.
  • Support and correspondence — messages and other communications you send to our operations team.
  • Technical and device information — device and browser identifiers, IP address, operating system, and authentication logs collected automatically when you access the Platform and used to operate and secure it.

Section 2

How we use your information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Account and onboarding — to create and manage your inspector account, verify your identity and licensing, and process your onboarding.
  • Assignment management — to match you with inspection opportunities, manage assignment workflows, track completion status, and conduct quality review.
  • Service delivery and partner reporting — to deliver completed inspection reports, photos, and related field data to the property owners, clients, or insurance partners who commissioned the inspection.
  • Compensation — to process payments for completed inspection work through our payment processor.
  • Communications — to send you operational messages about your account, assigned inspections, scheduling, and support. If you have opted in, to send you job-related SMS notifications.
  • Platform security and compliance — to maintain Platform security, troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.
  • Business operations — to improve the Platform, analyze usage patterns, and support internal administrative functions.

Section 3

SMS and text messaging

We send SMS messages only after you provide explicit opt-in consent through an unchecked checkbox during onboarding or by affirmatively enabling text notifications in your account settings. Message frequency varies based on assignment activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by disabling text notifications in your account settings. Reply HELP for assistance.

We do not sell your phone number or SMS opt-in status. We do not share your SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. SMS delivery is handled by our telecommunications provider solely to send messages you have requested.

Section 4

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the Platform and deliver inspection services, as follows:

  • Property owners and clients — inspection reports, photos, and related field data you submit are shared with the property owner, client, or insurance partner who commissioned the inspection, as the core purpose of the Platform.
  • Clerk — authentication, session management, and account security.
  • Supabase — secure database storage and application infrastructure.
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and, where applicable, collection of tax identification information. Stripe's use of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Twilio — delivery of SMS messages you have opted in to receive.
  • Insurance and industry partners — when necessary to complete an inspection engagement or fulfill contractual obligations to the commissioning party.
  • Legal and safety disclosures — when required by applicable law, court order, or government authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the Platform, Beagle, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Section 5

Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, meet our contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

  • Account information is retained for the duration of your engagement as an inspector and for a reasonable period thereafter to support audit, legal, and dispute-resolution needs.
  • Inspection submissions (reports, photos, field data) are retained as needed to fulfill obligations to commissioning parties and as required by applicable record-keeping requirements.
  • Payment and tax records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial reporting law.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Section 6
